Hi Pete,

As you know, because of the socially distanced audiences there are many venues who have been forced to offer a diminished fee this time round. Hi Phil,

I completely understand! This does however create a reality where we can’t afford to complete the whole tour and if I can’t raise three or four grand we’re going to stall some time in November.

I am therefore running a raffle to raise some more funds.

Would you mind sharing this with your mailing list? Or in fact – anyone you can think of!

There are some great prizes here and any surplus funds will go to running Shepperton Jazz Club (I’m the director) as we’re dangerously close to the wire too.

Thanks, and we’re looking forward to seeing you.

In the ‘Nigel Price 2020 Tour Draw’
£10 a ticket. No limits on the amount of tickets you can buy. Help live jazz in the UK and simultaneously get the chance to win one of these amazing prizes:

1st Prize Fibonacci ‘Americano’ Arch Top Jazz Guitar. (We only made a few of these).
2nd Prize Fender Blues Junior lll guitar amp
3rd Prize Mesa/Boogie Rocket 44 guitar amp

EVERY entrant will receive a download code for three Nigel Price Organ Trio albums – ‘Heads & Tales Vol l’, ‘Live!’ and ‘Fool’s Gold’.

With this tour, we want to send out the message that the UK jazz scene can be OPEN FOR BUSINESS! Mask on, crack on!

This raffle will bring invaluable help to venues and musicians alike with essential costs on the upcoming Nigel Price Organ Trio 2020 tour.

(See Nigel’s website for more details on that). The need for reduced ‘socially distanced’ audiences due to Covid-19 regulations has decimated revenues whilst expenses remain the same, which means this tour will be impossible to complete without your assistance.

Hey – even if this doesn’t resound with you, this is a great raffle with outstanding prizes!

100% of excess funds will go to staging events and giving employment to musicians at Shepperton Jazz Club, which, like so many other venues, is also struggling to survive the financial challenges thrown up by the pandemic.

Thanks for your help in keeping the jazz scene alive in the UK and good luck!
