Wakefield Jazz Workshop meets most Tuesday nights (7:30-9:30 pm) at Wakefield Sports Club, Eastmoor Road (the home of Wakefield Jazz) – again, all musicians are welcome to come and play jazz music from bebop to contemporary, with a focus on improvising and playing together. Bring your own instrument and a music stand.

Horbury “Wakefield Sings!”

Come and sing!

This community choir meets every Monday night at the Malt House, Horbury (function room at right-hand end of building) at 7:30 pm for an hour and a half of singing in harmony. There’s no music-reading, everything is learnt by ear, and new singers are always welcome, regardless of experience!
